Put on your national costume in honour of Latvia!
National Costume Center SENĀ KLĒTS, in cooperation with Culture and Folk Art Center "Ritums" and the association "Mans Tautastērps", invites you to celebrate the Independence Day of the Republic of Latvia in national costumes, by joining a march from Rātslaukums to Brīvības Laukums and showing pride in Latvian traditions!
Knitting workshops in Japan
In April 2019, Maruta Grasmane went to Japan together with the representatives of SENĀ KLĒTS to conduct several mitten knitting workshops in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Kanazawa, in order to participate in the CAITO project at the Embassy of the Republic of Latvia in Japan, as well as to demonstrate mitten knitting skills to Japanese knitters at the Japan Hobby Show in Tokyo .

Mitten night in Paris
The Embassy of Latvia in France, in cooperation with the National Costume Center SENĀ KLĒTS, invites you to a special evening all about Maruta Grasmane's book "Latvian mittens" on October 23, 2019! The program includes the presentation of the French translation of "Latvian mittens", a meeting with the author, and a performance by the Paris Choir LATVE.
There is no entrance fee.
